Shipping

The  shipping fees are determined by item weight and destination. The charges are automatically calculated in the Cart once you have added an item and selected your destination from the drop-down menu.

Delivery

Our items are shipped by La Poste (Colissimo) and Mondial Relay (certain European countries only). All orders are insured and require a signature upon receipt. All orders are dispatched from our workshop in Northern France. PayPal or Stripe will send an email confirming that we have received your order. You will receive another email once the order has been shipped which will include the date dispatched, a tracking number and the service used. Please ensure that your shipping address is up to date and correct. Please email us immediately if you need to change an address, confirm an address or if additional delivery instructions are required. Atelier Kathryn Sanderson reserves the right to charge for all excess shipping charges that arise from an incorrect shipping address.

Lead Times

Items Made to order

Certain items in our store are Made-to-Order and custom made. Most notably, our CROP Linen Tablecloths and Cucina Rustica Table Runners. These products are clearly described as so in the product description for those items. Depending on the size of the order, under normal circumstances we ship CROP Linen tablecloths within 10 – 14 working days and Cucina Rustica table runners and custom lengths within 3-14 days. Should our lead times be longer than estimated due to high demand or unforeseeable delays, we will advise you by email. If you would like a more accurate estimate or require your item/s to be shipped earlier, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

 

Stock Items

The rest of the items in our store are in-stock unless otherwise indicated as out-of-stock. If the item is in-stock, it is shipped in 1-2 days depending on demand. If out-of-stock, please send us a message via the Messenger button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and we can let you know immediately when it will be back in store.

Ordering

All of our fabrics are made of 100% linen. Slubs and yarn variations are inherent natural characteristics of our fabrics. Images of products in this store show an example of the product and not the actual product you will receive. We make every effort to ensure that the colours are displayed as accurately as possible.  However, colours will appear differently from device to device and we cannot guarantee the colour display accuracy of your personal device. If for any reason you are unable to place your order through our online store, please email us with your order and shipping address and we will email you a PayPal invoice that you can pay securely online.

Belgian Linen

All of our Belgian Linen is certified and as such, our Belgian Linen fabrics and products made from Belgian Linen are issued with a Belgian Linen Certificate of Origin.

Payment

We accept payment via Paypal and Stripe. We do not collect your credit card details, your payment is processed securely by your preferred payment gateway. For French customers, we also accept payment via bank transfer or by cheque. Please email us at orders@kathrynsanderson.com and we will contact you directly regarding your order.

We use Paypal Express checkout which automatically hides your billing address from us and the postal service. This may be of particular interest to our customers who wish to maintain their privacy to the fullest extent.

Refunds & Exchanges

Except in the event of an error made by us, we do not accept refunds or exchanges on custom made items.

However, in the event that you are not happy with your purchase of a ready made item, we can refund or exchange the item. We must be informed of your intention to return the items within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The items must be returned to us unworn, unused and in their original packaging. Please note that we only refund the cost of the items not the shipping costs. We will not refund or exchange the items until they have been returned to us.

When returning an item to us, you are responsible for the shipping charges. In the event of an exchange, you are responsible for the additional shipping charges in sending the replacement items. When an item is being sent back to us, we are not responsible for items lost in transit. We recommend that you insure the goods for their true value.

If you have received your order and it has been damaged during postal transit, please contact us so that we can file a claim with the relevant carrier. The same applies for missing or lost parcels. For any claim regarding damage in transit, the item and shipping box must be photographed in order to file the claim.

General terms

All prices are in Euros. VAT is not applicable on all orders. This includes parcels destined for the EU or the rest of the world. (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI) Customs charges and/or duties may be payable upon entry into your country. These charges and/or duties are your responsibility. Visiting the Atelier & Open Hours

Given our location and the fact that our work often prevents us from breaking or putting down our tools, we ask that visitors make an appointment so as to ensure that you have our full attention. We are open between 10 am and 7pm Monday to Friday but we’re happy to schedule studio visits in the evenings and on week-ends too.

Why isn’t my CROP Linen item branded?

CROP Linen items are made to a very high standard, using materials of extraordinary quality. They embody these intrinsic and evident qualities and as such, they can stand on their own merit. We hope that if someone asks you about your CROP Linen items that you will share your experience with them and hopefully recommend CROP Linen to them.

Are your blog posts sponsored?

None of my blog posts are sponsored by third parties, either in money or kind. When I mention other makers, growers or food producers in my posts, I do so in support of these individuals and their businesses. This show of community support is important to me.
